Serve and Safeguard the Construction of Ecological Civilization of the Greater Bay Area

　　To build a beautiful, green and livable bay area, Guangdong’s procuratorates focus on the ecological environment and resources conservation, food and drug and other core areas, and strengthen judicial protection of ecological environment and resources of the Greater Bay Area.

　　　Improve institutional systems. Legal systems such as the Decision on Strengthening Procuratorial Public Interest Litigation have been formulated to consolidate the institutional foundation of the ecological conservation, and to improve the legislative system for the protection of the public interests of the Greater Bay Area.

　　Serve and safeguard the tough battle against pollution. Special actions such as the geothermal resources protection have been carried out.

　　Intensify efforts to improve the maritime ecological environment and the cross-region river renovation. Guangdong’s procuratorates actively participate in the special “Blue Bay Initiative,” continue to promote the special “Safeguarding the Ocean” supervision activities of public interest litigation, crack down on crimes against the ecological environment such as the damage of water sources, illegal logging, and illegal occupation of cultivated land, and enable the filing of one lawsuit to give the effect of warning the whole society.

　　Promote the “Four Strictest” special work in the food and drug safety field.  Guangdong’s procuratorates enhance the handling of public litigation cases including the online and offline sales of unsafe food, health products, agricultural products and frozen food. They take the initiative to have consultation with competent administrative departments of environmental protection, land and resources, as well as food and drug, and urge the administrative organs to carry out special rectification in order to promptly investigate and handle the violations of the law.
