　　Severely crack down on all kinds of crimes of infringing upon intellectual property rights. In view of the new situation and new problems, Guangdong’s procuratorial organs have intensified efforts to crack down on crimes of infringing upon intellectual property rights in the nine municipalities of the Greater Bay Area, and strengthened the judicial guarantees for the implementation of the innovation-driven development strategy. 

　　Improve the criteria for the application of law to intellectual property cases. 

　　Launch a series of innovative initiatives for intellectual property protection. The People’s Procuratorate of Guangzhou Branch of Railway Transport is assigned to concentrate on handling intellectual property cases. Guangdong’s procuratorates carry out the pilot work of informing the infringed enterprises of their litigation rights and obligations, explore the establishment of institutions specialized in handling intellectual property cases, and extend the protection of intellectual property rights to all the cutting-edge innovation industries. 

　　Intensify the synergistic coordination of judicial protection for intellectual property rights. The provincial procuratorate strengthens the coordination with the provincial department of public security, the provincial intellectual property office, the provincial bureau of industry and commerce and other institutions to better establish the information sharing platforms. The procuratorial organs of Guangdong province will further increase connection with China (Guangdong) Intellectual Property Protection Centre, the Intellectual Property Trading Center of Zhuhai, Hengqin, and other departments to take forward the publicity of the rule of law in combination with case handling, and help raise the awareness of self-protection of the innovation and technology talents.
